Over the years, Bremner Pool & Spa has found that the best way to provide a complete pool opening is to do it over two days. This allows us to clean up everything and get it running so it will clear up the first day, and vacuum the pool, check the pool chemistry, and properly inspect the pool heater on the second day.
Cover Removal
- Wash clean; Fold your cover and put your water bags in a plastic bag.
- Place all debris from cover in garbage bags and remove to street for pick-up.
- Replace all deck equipment.
- Scrub water line , pool deck and clean general pool area.
- Check pool clarity, water balance and super chlorinate.
- Repair minor problems created by winter or advise as to repairs.
- N.B. Slight additional charge if pool cover excessively leaf ridden or pool water excessively green.
Vacuum/Start -up Call
- Start up filtration system.
- Check for plumbing leaks at filter equipment.
- Vacuum pool with our pump system, this removes all heavy debris and most fine debris.
- Thoroughly brush pool bottom.
- Skim pool surface.
- Written water chemistry and pool analysis.
- Super chlorinate pool.
Heater Start UP
- Clean, light and check safety and efficiency-By licensed gas fitter.
